Completed Crawlspaces

Existing sump-pit to low no lid.

Sump-pit riser with lid.

New concrete floor pumped in around sump-pit.

A Radon system was installed over this wood and cardboard. The crawlspace was not usable for storage. We found Mold on most of the debris under the vapor barrier.

The entire crawlspace had wood and cardboard under the vapor barrier.
We removed all debris, then graded the existing gravel to level off the area.
Then we pumped in the new concrete floor.

The finished product. We pumped in a 6bag portland mix approx. 4" thick.
A smooth float finish was applied. This Naperville family now has a CLEAN, SAFE, storage area.

We replaced this window well. It was only 12" from the window, rusted, loose and letting mud run in.

New window well installed and anchored to the foundation. This is now a safe escape window. We also lowered the bottom 8" and installed clean gravel.

This home is on a crawlspace. They needed the space for storage. Moisture level was always high, odors were very noticeable. We recommended a drain tile system, vapor barrier and new concrete floor be installed.

We first dug a trench around the inside of the foundation walls. This was linked to the existing sump-pit. Then we covered the drain-tile with gravel for proper drainage.

Then we covered crawlspace with our vapor barrier, overlapping the seams by 12" min. Then the flexible rubber concrete pump hoses were run to the farthest corner. The final step of pumping in the concrete was started.

New concrete floor has been pumped in and a smooth float finish was applied.
